A supportive, down-to-earth coaching space for teens and young adults (ages 16-24) looking for guidance, clarity, confidence, and someone in their corner.
In a world constantly competing for young people’s attention, I help teens and young adults build self-trust, confidence, emotional resilience, and a stronger connection to who they are.
Many teens and young adults don’t need another adult pressuring them to open up. I focus on creating a grounded, supportive space where trust develops naturally, allowing young people to feel comfortable being themselves and opening up at their own pace.
For over 15 years, I’ve worked with teens and young adults through mentorship, advocacy, coaching, and experiential leadership programs.
My background includes supporting foster youth as a CASA volunteer, working with teens and young adults through San Diego Youth Services community programs, and mentoring students through Global Leadership Adventures (GLA) programs in Costa Rica, Peru, and Alaska. Supporting young people has extended beyond these roles and has remained a consistent part of my work and life for many years.
Across these experiences, I have guided teens and young adults through confidence building, identity exploration, leadership development, life transitions, and the real-life challenges that often come with growth and figuring out who you are and where you’re headed.
As a Certified Life & Health Coach, I bring a warm, strengths-based, collaborative approach rooted in both professional training and real-world youth leadership experience.

Encouragement, reflection, realistic next steps, and room for a little lightness along the way — without shame, pressure, or perfectionism.
Building on resilience, strengths, and what’s already working.
Helping untangle overwhelm into manageable, practical progress.
Confidence, wellbeing, identity, executive functioning, transitions.
Creating a grounded, nonjudgmental space where trust and honesty can develop naturally over time.
Listening without immediately correcting, fixing, or taking over. Coaching as partnership.
“I was fortunate enough to get to work with Kelly both as a student and, later, as a coaching client. Kelly was supportive, met me where I was, showed kindness, patience, and a fantastic amount of humor. She works incredibly well with teens and young adults, and helped me set and feel motivated to achieve my goals. I’d recommend her whole
I’d recommend her wholeheartedly to anyone looking to take that next step in cultivating a stronger sense of self and pursuing their goals!”
— Olivia, former student & coaching client
“Knowing Kelly has made me more patient, understanding, and better aligned with my goals. Having her support and perspective has helped me grow into someone who can stand on their own two feet and take ownership of my decisions and life. Because of Kelly, I’ve become a better version of myself.”
— Carol, former student & longtime mentee
“Kelly does more than listen to students’ interests and provide them with a plan to achieve. She starts a discussion that allows her to develop a fuller picture of her students’ lives. Her dedication to getting to know her students on a personal level supports strong collaboration and meaningful guidance.”
— Erin, former GLA student & mentee
“You made me so comfortable being a weirdo that I couldn’t help but gravitate toward you.”
— Former GLA student letter
“After our few talks, something got to me — something that I understood and realized the importance of. I understand now, more than I ever have, the importance of listening to my instinct, switching the channel, being kind to myself, self-advocating, and being grateful. You made a HUGE impact on me… I’ve made the decision to get up and make a change.”
— Former GLA student letter
“Kelly never failed to make me feel comfortable in my own skin.”

A brief (free) conversation to explore goals, questions, and whether coaching feels like a good fit.
No pressure, no commitment — just space to connect, learn more about the process, and explore what kind of support might feel most helpful.
In most cases, we begin with a 4-session starter package. Building trust, confidence, and meaningful change takes time, and this structure allows space for young people to warm up, gain clarity, and build momentum without pressure.
After that, we can decide together whether continued coaching support feels helpful and what that might look like.
After the initial starter package, coaching can continue through flexible ongoing support options, including individual sessions or bundles, depending on goals, needs, and desired level of support.
Whether you're a teen, young adult, or parent exploring support options, we can start with a simple conversation about goals, questions, and what kind of support might feel most helpful.
